Hurra, hurra, hurra! – a jubilee tea towel made for celebrating
To mark Almedahls’ 180th anniversary, we invited Lotta Kühlhorn to design a tea towel with a festive theme. The result is a joyful pattern with a little bit of everything. At the centre stands a krokan – Sweden’s national celebration cake – surrounded by clovers and fireworks.
The tea towel, named Hurra, hurra, hurra!, is created for all of life’s festive occasions – from birthdays and graduations to weddings and anniversaries. A krokan is an ornate, old-fashioned confection made from piped almond paste, egg and icing, assembled with melted sugar and often decorated with marzipan roses and flags. In Lotta’s playful interpretation, it is adorned with candles and ruby-red cherries.
