Spring is here, bringing with it a longing for brighter rooms, open windows and homes that can breathe new energy. In our new spring collection for Almedahls Home, colour and pattern take centre stage, with roots firmly grounded in Scandinavian design tradition and a clear focus on contemporary living.
Here, timeless patterns come together. Playful lines from the 1950s, vibrant design from the 1970s and a modern sense of simplicity are woven into a collection that brings warmth, personality and joy to the home. New colourways give classic designs fresh life, feeling just as at home in a minimalist apartment as in a summer house or a rural setting.
AILANTHUS – a summery dream
A favourite for many. Created by Louise Carling in the 1970s, this archive gem features floating leaves, flowers and winding plant forms. Its large-scale, lush expression moves across the surface in a soft, almost dreamlike flow.
Now we introduce Ailanthus in a new, light and summery colourway that enhances its organic shapes even further. The result is airy and harmonious – perfect for bright rooms, large windows and homes where nature is welcome indoors as well.
FAUNA – like a summer meadow
Fauna captures the spirit of the 1970s with its soft, rounded and slightly naïve design language. In this season’s palette – where green, blue and yellow tones interact – Fauna feels both nostalgic and surprisingly contemporary.
The stylised flowers spread out like a blooming summer meadow, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A pattern that works just as beautifully in urban interiors as in the countryside, and is especially well suited for table settings when you want to invite summer to the table.
ITALIAN WINE & FRUIT PUNCH – with a 1950s feel
Inspired by the archive pattern Lemon Squash, we have designed two new kitchen towels in a clean, 1950s-inspired style. Italian Wine and Fruit Punch combine graphic simplicity with a playful character, updated in soft, modern colours.
