Picknick oil cloth by the meter is washable at 40°C (104°F) and easy to clean with a damp cloth. The oil cloth is made of cotton and treated with a water-repellent surface to resist spills and stains. It has a thin coating of acrylic (not PVC). Acrylic-coated fabric by the meter does not fray and does not need hemming.
