Purchase and shipping terms for private individuals

Delivery costs  (private consumer)  

Consumer prices include 25% VAT.

Please note that additional custom costs and taxes may be added if the country is outside of the EU. We don't take responsibility for potential import duty costs or taxes. For more information please contact your local customs clearance office.

Delivery time

Orders sent within Sweden will be shipped within 1-2 business days.

We will contact you by email if an item is sold out or if the delivery time is longer than expected. The expected delivery time within Sweden is two business days with the exception of certain parts of northern Sweden.

You will receive a notification by text, email, or letter with your place of pick up and. If you don't pick up your order within the first 14 days it will be returned and you will be responsible for any extra costs. Delivery time for custom orders is specified for each individual product.

Delivery outside of Sweden

Orders sent to outside of Sweden will be shipped within 1-3 business days. Delivery time can vary but should take about 4-6 days within the EU and will be delivered to your home address. You will receive a notification by text or email as soon as the order leaves the warehouse. Delivery time for custom orders is specified for each individual product.

Purchases

After your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email or text. You will also receive a notification by email or text when the order has arrived at your local DHL or PostNord pick up spot. False orders and fraud attempts will be reported to the police.

Kustom Checkout Solution

We use Kustom Checkout to manage your purchase at our store. The Kustom Checkout is an independent checkout solution provided by Kustom AB through which payment methods and delivery options are available.

Kustom is not a bank and does not process payments directly, Kustom provides the interface and logic that displays the applicable payment methods.

When you use the checkout to complete your purchase, you will be offered different payment methods. These payment methods are processed by separate providers, depending on the payment method you select when you finalise your purchase. For the payment, you are redirected to a payment service provider, such as Klarna, Swish, MobilePay, where the purchase is completed.

In order to make your shopping experience effortless, the Kustom Checkout includes automatic filling of your information if you saved your information or previously entered your information in the Kustom Checkout.

Kustom will not perform any credit check, instead that may be performed by the payment method you have selected to pay for your purchase.

Right of return

According to the Distance and Home Sales Contracts Act (2005: 59), you as a customer have a right of withdrawal for 14 days after you have received the product from us. Items returned must be unused and in undamaged original packaging. NOTE: No right of withdrawal on cut meter fabric under 10 meters (32.8 feet), nor does the right of withdrawal apply to rugs that are custom-made specifically for you. You as a customer are responsible for shipping and return shipping cost when invoking the right of withdrawal. If you as a customer want to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact Almedahl's customer service, see contact information, to obtain a return number (RN). Returns are sent well packaged together with name, order number, and reason for the return. Unredeemed packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal according to the Distance and Home Sales Act. For packages that are not picked up, a fee of SEK 300 will be charged. This fee corresponds to the costs incurred for us to send out packages and receive a return.

Right of complaint

The three-year right of complaint applies in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act. In the event of a complaint, you should always contact Almedahl's customer service, see contact information, and state the order number, reason for the complaint and feel free to attach photos of the damage. In the event of a complaint about a defective item, you as a customer must request an RN (return number) and shipping label. Never send goods without first agreeing with us, for handling it is important that we know that packages are on the way. Do not forget to pack the product well. If you have obviously packaged the product incorrectly, you may be required to pay a refund. In cases where the reason for the return is a complaint and errors that cannot be proven, a fee of SEK 300 is paid. Shipments that do not have an RN are returned to the sender and the shipping cost is charged. In the event of a dispute, we promise to follow the General Complaints Board's recommendations. Transport damage

In the event of visible damage to packages or packaging, it is important that you report this directly to the delivery point. Contact our customer service, see contact information. Hidden transport damage is reported to our customer service for handling the damage as soon as possible.
